Client Confidentiality & Document Handling Agreement
1. Purpose
Insurance Reviewer provides independent, document-based insurance analysis and decision-support services. You may provide quotations, policy wordings, schedules, renewal documents and related information so the service can assess and compare insurance terms.
2. Confidential information
Information you provide for an assessment, including insurance documents, personal information, business information and information contained in attachments, is treated as confidential and used for the purposes described in this agreement and the Privacy & Data Protection Notice.
3. Permitted use
The information is used to provide the requested insurance review, assess scope and complexity, prepare analysis, communicate with you about the engagement, maintain service records and meet applicable legal or security obligations.
4. Limited disclosure
Information is not sold or published. It may be accessed by the service provider and by technology or professional service providers engaged to operate the service, where reasonably necessary for the stated purposes and subject to appropriate confidentiality and security arrangements. Disclosure may also occur where required or authorised by law.
5. Automated and AI-assisted processing
Insurance documents may be processed using automated software and AI-assisted tools for document extraction, comparison and preparation of draft analysis. Human review remains responsible for the final insurance review. AI-assisted processing does not mean that the system is authorised to make an insurance purchasing decision on your behalf.
6. No insurer contact without authorisation
The service is designed to analyse documents provided by you. The service provider will not contact an insurer, broker or other third party on your behalf unless separately authorised to do so.
7. Security and retention
Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used to protect documents. Documents are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the service, legal obligations, dispute handling and security purposes, subject to the retention terms in the Privacy & Data Protection Notice.
8. Exclusions
Confidentiality does not apply to information that is already lawfully public, was already lawfully known without a confidentiality obligation, is independently developed without use of the confidential information, or must be disclosed by law or lawful authority.
9. Acceptance
By checking the acceptance box before uploading documents, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted this agreement for the relevant assessment. The website records the agreement version and acceptance time against the assessment.
10. Provider identity and legal terms
Insurance Reviewer is the operating service name. The final paid-service agreement should identify the legal person or entity providing the service, its address, governing law and any other required contractual particulars before paid engagements commence.
